During this event, strategies were presented to promote the Canary Islands as a business nexus between Europe and Africa to create opportunities with the continent, with Canary Islands business organisations as the driving force behind investment in Africa. Canary Islands companies such as Grupo Martínez Hermanos, Domingo Alonso Group, Binter Canarias and Klingele Paper & Packaging Group presented their business experiences in Africa, highlighting the existing business opportunities in the continent.

Key issues were addressed on how the Canary Islands can play a fundamental role as a bridge between the Iberian Peninsula and Africa with IBAFCAN as the tool to achieve this purpose.
