The 2nd Iberoafrican Canarias Forum (IBAFCAN) took place on 26th November 2025 at the Gran Hotel Taoro in Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife). Organised by the CEOE in collaboration with the Canary Islands Confederation of Employers and CEOE Tenerife, and with the support of the Government of the Canary Islands, it brought together institutional and business representatives from Spain, Portugal and the African continent.
The programme was structured around four panel discussions: the importance of infrastructure development in Africa (digitalisation, mobility, transport and logistics); natural resources and the energy transition towards a sustainable supply; project financing and instruments to support internationalisation towards Africa; and investment in talent and development, focusing on vocational training, SMEs and the Africa–Latin America connection.
The Forum concluded with a networking cocktail and bilateral meetings between institutions, business organisations and companies from Spain, Portugal and Africa, with simultaneous interpretation in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.
